Last Day in Cabos – Trip Debrief

It’s time to depart to home and the 8 day trip passed by so fast. We had a great time overall especially a big break from the Seattle Rain. Plus this was a first time experience with the All Inclusive package and the all-inclusive option did give Gayathri & I a break from cooking during vacation time :-). Though the food was average quality, we were fine to compensate with the available dining options and more time relaxing & enjoying with the family.

So how much does the trip cost ?

We booked the 7 night,8 day All-Inclusive package from Expedia website. We did researched Costco and other websites and found Expedia offered the best deal out of all. If you are looking for good deals to travel in December month, your best bet is to book before Dec 20th. The expensive packages are during Christmas to New Year period.

For a Family of 3 :- $2400 (This includes airfare, hotel accommodation and food for all 8 days)
When we booked the hotel, we did not choose any upgrades like ocean view or oceanfront rooms.
As it was holiday season, they provided 150$ resort coupons that we could leverage for any of the items within the resort during check-in. I’m not sure if they do this on a regular basis.

Ocean View Rooms: 30$ per night upgrade
Ocean Front Rooms: 60$ per night upgrade
